SUKKUR: Federal Law Minister Farooq Naik said Thursday that government will take issue of the deposed judges to the Parliament as they would be reinstated through legislation. Talking to newsmen at Sukkur Airport the Law Minister said that the judges have to be restored through legislation under the Murree Declaration instead of an executive order. He urged the lawyers not to take any step which may lead to derailing the democratic process.
He vowed to repeal all black laws for the sake of restoration of supremacy of the law as “the constitution has been changed by introducing several black laws.” He also said that the government would ensure freedom of media and bring an end to violation of human rights. -SANA
