ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qurishi has said that no foreign country would be allowed to operate inside Pakistan. Commenting on the recent statement of Director of a US intelligence agency, CIA, he said that no foreign country would be allowed to attack or take direct action on the soil of Pakistan. “And if concrete information is provided we ourselves will take action”, said The Foreign Minister.
In an interview with a private TV channel he said that the government respect public sentiments as it is a representative body elected by the people. Regarding war against terrorism he said that the matter will be decided by the parliament and the government will only forward decision of the parliament. He added that political parties were against terrorism and all the parties wanted peace in the country.
He said,” terrorism is ours issue and it is not an issue of USA or any other foreign country as blasts in Lahore or Islamabad directly affect us.”-SANA
