PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-N Chairman, Mian Nawaz Sharif Tuesday showed contentment over his party’s decision not to be part of Provincial Cabinet of NWFP. Nawaz Sharif and President PML-N NWFP, Pir Sabir Shah talked with each other on telephone. During the talk Nawaz Sharif said that Pir Sabir Shah’s decision of not joining the NWFP Cabinet was right, saying that all decisions will be made in greater interest of the country and province.
President PML-N NWFP and Parliamentary leader Pir Sabir Shah on Monday refused to join NWFP Cabinet. He said he had reservations on the departments being offered to him. The NWFP Cabinet should be formed through consultation of the three parties as the Federal Cabinet had been formed earlier, he said, adding “but it was done that way.”
Pir Sabir Shah assured of his support to the NWFP government but refused to be part of the government. It is pertinent to mention that after Februry 18 elections ANP, PPP and PML-N had agreed in principle over forming a coalition government in the province.-SANA
