Pakistan Computer Association felicitates Gilani


ISLAMABAD: Munawar Iqbal, President Pakistan Computer Association, a representative body of IT and computer community of the country, has warmly congratulated Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani, on assuming office of the prime minister. In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he expressed the hope that with his becoming the prime minister the country would come out of the prevailing impasse and severe economic crises being faced for last several months.

He said political maturity, managerial acumen, steadfastness and clarity of vision possessed by Makhdoom Yusuf Raza Gilani, he hopefully would overcome current adverse economic situation which had been kept hostage to uncertainty and lawlessness.

Munawar Iqbal said industrial, business and trading community generally and ICT community particularly trust his capabilities and are confident that the prime minister shall revisit the economic and IT policies of the country particularly all such which are detrimental to the development and growth of the Information Technology a source of earning foreign exchange and developing rich human resource of the country.

He also expressed the hope measures regarding poverty alleviation in real sense would be adopted and jobs would be created specially for educated unemployed youth. He assured the new government full support and cooperation of IT community of the country in overcoming the current multifarious problems being faced by the nation.-SANA
