LONDON: President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, Mohammad Ghalib has urged the new government in Pakistan to review its visa policy towards India which was continuously refusing travel documents to the pro-freedom leaders to visit Pakistan while pro –India leaders are facilitated to go anywhere in the world including Pakistan.
Reacting over the issuance of visa by Pakistan to Pro-India leaders Shaikh Ummar Abdullah to attend a conference in Islamabad, Ghalib said leaders like Ummar Abdullah project Indian view point at international level while leaders like Syed Ali Geelani who represent Kashmir’s freedom movement are not being allowed by India to attend such conferences.
He said Shaikh Abdullah family is responsible of Kashmiri peoples’ genocide and massacre and Pakistan at least should not provide opportunities to these elements present themselves as representatives of Kashmiri people. He said Pakistan should demonstrate that it stands with pro-freedom leaders by refusing visa to pro-India Kashmiri leaders who are engaged in implementing Indian agenda on Kashmir.
The Tehreek-e-Kashmir leader also demanded that new democratic government in Pakistan should exert pressure on India to lift restriction imposed on Syed Ali Geelani for traveling abroad. If India does not change its policy Pakistan should also not facilitate pro-India Kashmiri leaders to visit Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
He said Pakistani leadership must understand that India wanted to make the world realize that people Like Ummar Abdullah are real leaders of Kashmir by facilitating them while Geelani and other freedom movement leaders are being barred to travel abroad including Pakistan.-SANA
