Establishment has left no stone unturned to break Pakistan: Khar

ISLAMABAD: Former Governor Punjab Ghulam Mustafa Khar has said that the establishment has left no stone unturned to break Pakistan but it was the Grace of God which was keeping the country intact. “Had the similar establishment been sitting in India it would have not remained intact. It is Allah’s Grace that Pakistan is still surviving,” he said while participating in a TV programme.

The credibility of the PPP second tier leaderships has been not up to the mark and it became the cause of Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, he said and added that he has no objection about the policies of PPP leadership. After the assassination of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto agencies played a role in the PPP and purged it of committed leaders, he alleged saying the leaders who left PPP at that time remained close to the establishment for their survival.-SANA
