ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will give lectures to different think tanks in Washington DC and New York on the country’s present situation. He will also be addressing a large number of Pakistanis in New York, Washington and Las Vegas who have organized interactive sessions and debates about the crisis in Pakistan.
In addition to meeting several US lawmakers and think tanks, Khan is also scheduled to lecture at the prestigious American University, the Asia Society both in DC and New York and the Buxton Institute. Secretary General of PTI, Dr. Arif Alvi is also part of the party’s delegation said, “The way the war on terror is being conducted in Pakistan is creating and going to create more hatred and more horror and is leading to a never ending vicious cycle.” The vibrant people of Pakistan can easily fight this menace of terror as the causes of all unrest are being unfairly jumbled together, he observed.
The aim of PTI’s delegation, he said, is to reassure the international community that Pakistan’s nuclear deterrent will remain in safe hands whoever comes to power as the people have paid a high price for this security and would never allow it to fall into wrong hands.
