ISLAMABAD: Fifteen of the mortar shells dropped in the Pakistani area of Ghulam Khan at North Waziristan when allied NATO’s forces launched retaliatory attack against suspected insurgents in Afghanistan on Pak-Afgan border on Saturday. No causality was reported. ISPR, however, could not confirm the reports and said that it had no such information.
There are reports that suspected insurgents attacked a security check post at Tarkhubi in the Afghanistan’s province of Khost which was retaliated by the allied forces by heavy shelling, 15 of them were reportedly dropped in the Pakistani area of Ghulam Khan at North Waziristan. There is no report of causality. DG ISPR Major General Athar Abbas said that he has no information about the incident.-SANA
