Govt claims to overcome atta shortage within 48 hrs

ISLAMABAD: The Federal caretaker Minister for Food, Agriculture and livestock Prince Isa Jan Baloch has said that the shortage of flour would be overcome within next 48 hours. In a statement issued here on Wednesday the Minister said the demand of flour has come down in the country as supply of wheat to the mill owners has been increased. He said though the demand of flour could not be met in different areas of Sindh however, arrangements have been made to fulfill the demand within next two days.

He said the price of 20 kilogram flour bag has decreased in the country. Wheat flour, he said, is available at fair price for the consumers, and added that the mill owners have agreed to provide flour at the rate of Rs. 17 per kilogram.-SANA
