Ejaz ridicules AJK rulers for making castles in air

RAWALAKOT: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami AJK Sardar Ejaz Afzal has said that those who promised supply sui gas to Srinagar should first redressed grievances of their people by providing them basic amenities at controlled price. Talking to a delegation of earthquake affectees here, Sardar Ejaz said that shortage of Atta (flour) and load shedding of electricity have added to the miseries of the already anguished people in the earthquake hit areas and the ignorant rulers have failed to provide them relief.

“Instead of addressing the genuine problems of their own people the big mouthed rulers in AJK are claiming to supply sui gas to Srinagar. Oblivious of the price of a gas cylinder, the rulers should first provide basic amenities of life to their own people instead of making castles in the air,” he said. He said empty slogans cannot solve the problems of the people and how the rulers who failed to control the prices of cylinder in their own state, can provide sui gas to people in occupied Kashmir.

He demanded of the rulers to take measures to provide Atta and other edibles to the people of AJK at controlled prices and bring an end to the unjustified load shedding in wake of the extreme cold triggered by heavy rains and snowfall. Ejaz claimed that the sycophants in the Azad Kashmir power corridor have given nothing to the masses except deprivation and disappointments.

Security forces cordoned off the area and there are reports of heavy aerial firing after the blast. Imran, an FA student, has reportedly been killed in the firing. Authorities have declared indefinite curfew in adjacent villages Sirinai and Totanu Bandai and the whole area has been sealed off after the attack. Meanwhile, curfew has been relaxed from 7am to 6pm except Wanai bridge and Chuprial valley of Swat.-SANA
