370 out of 569 polling stations declared sensitive in Swat

MINGORA: Election Commission has established 569 polling stations, 370 of them have been declared as sensitive, for two National Assembly and seven provincial assembly seats in district Swat.Election, however, has been terminated on one of the NWWP Assembly seats in the district due to the sad demise of PML (Q) contesting candidate Mian Gul Asfandyar Ameer Zeb, who was killed along with seven other people in a bomb blast last Friday.

Out of these 569 polling stations, 243 are male and 219 are female polling stations while in the remaining 107 polling stations both male and female would cast their votes. Election Commission has declared 370 of these polling stations as sensitive. There are 815436 registered voters in district Swat, 485792 of them are male while 329644 are female registered voters.-SANA
