Bhagwandas asks political parties to contest polls

ISLAMABAD: Former judge of Supreme Court Justice Rana Bhagwandas, who has vacated the official residence in the Judges Colony, has said that political parties should take part in the elections. Talking to a private TV channel after been shifting to his own residence in Karachi, he said that on reaching the age of 65 years he has constitutionally retired and is going back to Karachi after vacating the official residence.

He said that he has no desire of getting any further position and he would spend his life after the retirement by studying books, writing memoirs and doing welfare work. Mr Justice Rana Bhagwandas said that other judges may be reinstated but he himself has retired and the age limit cannot be extended or reduced nor he has any such desire.-SANA
