Nomination papers rejected coz of revenge: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Chief Nawaz Sharif said Thursday that his nomination papers were rejected to take revenge. Addressing the diplomats of Islamic countries here, he said that he would not appeal against rejection of his nomination papers as he doesn’t want “to beg anyone” regarding paper’s rejection.

nwaz.JPG Nawaz Sharif also expressed his dissatisfaction in the caretaker political set up as saying it is highly unlikely that free, fair and transparent elections would be held. Talking to media after his meeting with the diplomats, Nawaz Sharif said that by rejection his nomination papers, the government wanted to encourage the PML (Q) and give it a new life.-SANA
