ISLAMABAD: Central leaders of MMA Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and Qazi Hussain Ahmad have vowed to resist the imposition of emergency and the new Provisional Constitution Ordinance in Pakistan with full force. Sources said that both the leaders had a telephonic conversation on Monday as due to the inevitable reasons the leaders could not meet.
They discussed various on going matters particularly emergency imposition in the country and also decided to contact others political parties for counseling and take them into confidence on the issue.
MMA Deputy Secretary General Liaquat Baloch informed that both leaders have agreed to resist the extraordinary steps taken by the military ruler at all cost and pledged to continue their struggle for the restoration of democracy. He said that MMA would certainly hold its Supreme Council Meeting on November 8 and would take some important steps regarding the current scenario of the country.
