Business community for early ending of uncertainty to boost investment

ISLAMABAD: People representing business and trade community called for doing away with the uncertain situation in the country to improvement prospects of investment. Renowned businessman and stock exchange leader Arif Habib said in a statement that there should be a complete harmony among legislature, executive and judiciary as it is very essential for investment and the overall development of the country.

Prominent businessman Aqeel Kanm Dheedi said the events in the past two or three months have affected the overall environment of the country and it was feared that the economic boom which was achieved could be eroded. He said the uncertainty should have been eliminated for investment and other government activities.

A prominent businessman and former President of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry Gulzar Feroz said uncertain conditions were affecting the economy and the emergency would remove this. A leader of Pakistan Muslim League and Advisor to the Sindh Chief Minister Tariq Hassan said the emergency have been imposed in the interest of the country and the people.
