ISLAMABAD: President General Pervez Musharraf and the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto are likely to finalise a power-sharing agreement within a week. Informed sources said that both sides are presently in negotiation process to work out the structure of a caretaker government before holding general elections.

Though both sides are reported to have agreed on most of the points yet, sources say, some minor issues, like selection of a name for caretaker Prime Minister, are still hampering a final deal.
Besides the slot of the prime minister, the PPP is also keenly interested in inducting a person of its choice as the caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh province. The sources said both sides are likely to sort out these issues and finalise the agreement within a week, following which the caretaker government will be inducted on November 15.
