International boxer passes way

RAWALPINDI: International Boxer Capt. (Retd) Falak Sher died here on Tuesday due to heart attack. He remained as national champion in middle weight category from 1956-1962. He also represented Pakistan in various International boxing competitions and brought laurels. His funeral would be held Wednesday at his native Village Warala, Khalar Kahar, Tehsil Cho Saiden Shah, District, Chakwal.

Lt.Col(Retd) Salahuddin, Director General, Pakistan Sports Board, Col. Shujaat Ali Rana, Secretary, Army Sports Directorate, Lt. Col.(Retd) Muhammad Yahya, President, Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation and Mr. Shakeel Durrani, Secretary General, Pakistan Boxing Federation conveyed condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family and his son Col. Qayyum Malik.-SANA
