Shujaat advises govt to allow Nawaz to participate in political process

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim Lealgue (Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had advised the government to allow Nawaz Sharif to home and to participate in the political process adding that the ruling party is quite capable to meet the political challenge. Talking to newsmen, he said, “PML (Q) is capable of meeting any political challenge and the party and its allied parties would contest the next elections on the basis of the performance of the government during the past seven years.”

“PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif made promises with the Custodian of two Holy Mosques for his exile to Saudi Arabia and “now he is backing out of his promises which is not fair,” the PML (Q) leader commented. Shujaat said difference of opinion is part of the political culture and “we take all decisions after thorough discussion on each and every aspect of any political issue.” He said PML will go for vote on the basis of its performance in office and the people will repose their trust in its development-oriented policies. To a question he said, “No decision has been taken to deport Nawaz Sharif after his arrival in Islamabad and every step will be taken according to the law.”-SANA
