Nawaz’s wrong shot caught him in slip: Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Commenting on the arrival of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Monday said Nawaz Sharif was caught in the slip after playing a wrong shot. Talking to a state-run TV he said that Nawaz Sharif has broken what he promised with the government in an agreement. The minister said he (Nawaz) kept asking for seven long years that there was no agreement with anybody and at the end admitted that he left the countrymen in lurch after brokering an exile agreement aiming to lead a luxurious life in Saudia, Dubai and London.

How the guarantors can allow him to breach the agreement as they told Nawaz thrice they (his guarantors) are the people who know how to keep their words. They had secured the release of the Sharifs after hectic efforts, the minister said. Terming the decision of Shahbaz Sharif to stay back as wise he said they want tight grip on party as in case of Shahbaz’s arrest party can go to Javed Hashmi. “Shahbaz Sharif has still contacts with friends of the president and foreign guarantors. His stay in London can boost their party’s campaign,” he said.

Now the politics of country has entered into a decisive phase lets see whether assemblies go first or presidential elections are held first, he added. He said that people were not interested in Nawaz arrival as there was not a single person from MMA to receive Nawaz Sharif.-SANA
