He said joining the security forces was an ‘unforgivable sin’ and unemployment in the state was no excuse for it as other avenues of earning livelihood were present in abundance.
‘Odd jobs and working as a labourer is far better and dignified than joining the Indian Army,’ he said. The spokesman said under a conspiracy, Muslims were being inducted into home and hearth battalions which will not be allowed to succeed. Those who are strengthening the designs of New Delhi in Kashmir will not be tolerated, he added. The spokesman said the G-4 has also decided to suspend Al Arifeen till it refutes a newspaper report in which it distanced itself from a decision of the amalgam. Al Arifeen, one of the founder members of the grouping, has been permanently replaced by Al-Istiqlal, he said.-SANA
