Report finalized on floods’ damage

ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority with the help of World Bank and other organizations has finalized a survey report about the damages caused by floods and rains in the country. This was stated by the Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General (Ret) Farooq Ahmed Khan at a news briefing here on Friday. He said the government has provided over 94000 tents, 60000 blankets and 8000 tons of food items to the flood affectees in Balochistan, Sindh, NWFP and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said 550 million rupees have been distributed in Balochistan and 339 million rupees in Sindh.-SANA
