KURRAM AGENCY: Suspected tribesmen in Kurram Agency released 44 abducted Frontier Cops (FC) officials after the jirga held successful negotiations. Kurram Agency’s political agent Mohammad Azam Khan told private news channel that tribesmen in the area of Pewar made 44 FC men hostage and for their release, a 25-member jirga was sent to the tribes. The DAWN Group of Newspapers, published by the Pakistan Herald Publications (Pvt.) Limited (PHPL) was founded by the Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the father of the nation.
