Qaim, Rehman Malik review law and order in Karachi
KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik today co-chaired a high level meeting at Chief Minister House.
The meeting reviewed the over all law and order situation prevailing in the province of Sindh since last night. Chief Minister Sindh and Interior Minister appreciated the role of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain for his call to MQM workers to end their protest, with the result, the situation has gone towards normalcy.
Chief Minister Sindh expressed his sorrows on the events of human causalities and damages to properties of people. Chief Minister Sindh & Interior Minister directed the law enforcing agencies to have proper arrangement for protection and security of lives and properties of people.
The reports presented by law enforcing agencies were discussed in detail, and
ways and means were evolved for smooth running of life in the province.
The meeting was attended by I.G Police Sindh Mr. Wajid Ali Durrani, Acting Director General Rangers Sindh Brig: Zafar Iqbal, the additional I.G.Poilice Karachi Mr. Saud Mirza and others.
