ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira on Wednesday said facts have been distorted in WikiLeaks reports and apparently their main objective seems to create misunderstanding among various countries.He said most of the cable’ leaks are un-authentic and contrary to facts and have no reference to the content, he told a private news channel. In a programme, also attended by Chief of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and leader of PML (N) Saad Rafique, Kaira said that it seems to be conspiracy against politicians without any concrete evidence.

But at the same time we have many lessons, he said, adding that we need to be very careful when we are in opposition. The documents are based on personal opinion of certain people.

Answering a question, the Minister said relations with other countries are based on realities not on speculations.
Qamar Zaman said that Pakistan enjoys excellent ties with Saudi Arabia and we give importance to our relations with friendly states.-APP
