Subh-e-Nau to host National Tennis Championship
ISLAMABAD: Subh-e-Nau (SN) National Tennis Championship will be held at Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Tennis Courts from 25th of this month. Top seeded players from all over the country are expected to participate in this seven days featured event.
Chairperson Subh-e-Nau and Tournament Organizing Committee Mrs. Shahida Kausar Farooq said in a statement on Friday that continuing its endeavor for the promotion of tennis, SN is going to host yet another national ranking tennis tournament. She said being a first national tournament after almost three months, it is expected that a big number of players would participate in this event.
She told that players would take part in this event in six different categories. These categories include
Men’s Singles,
Ladies Singes,
Men’s Doubles,
Girls Juniors’ U- 18,
Boys Juniors’ U-18 and
Boys Juniors’ U-14.
She said that handsome prize money would be disbursed among winners according to the rules of International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Finals of this Championship would be played on Sunday 31st October.
