PM lauds services of outgoing CJCSC
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has lauded the services of the outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tariq Majeed who paid a farewell call on him here at Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday on successful completion of his tenure.
He commended the professionalism of General Tariq Majeed and the diligence with which he discharged his professional duties. The Prime Minister said that General Tariq Majeed’s contribution at this critical time when Pak Army is engaged in war against terror is commendable. He also appreciated his role in improving tri-service coordination.
General Tariq Majeed thanked the Prime Minister for his support and also discussed with him the matters pertaining to the armed forces. The Prime Minister wished him well for his future endeavors.-SANA
