Pakistan and Iran share insuperable friendship: CM Punjab
TEHRAN: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif met with Iranian Foreign Minister Munocher Muttaqi in Tehran on Thursday and both leaders discussed various issues of mutual interest. Iranian Foreign Minister cordially welcomed Mian Shahbaz Sharif and said that such type of visits of both countries’ leadership could play an important role in strengthening the relations.
He said the services of Punjab Chief Minister are appreciable regarding the promotion of trade, economic and educational contacts between Punjab and Kharasan. “Pakistan and Iran are attached in the relation of insuperable friendship,” he declared.
The meeting between the two leaders lasted for one hour. On the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif briefed the FM about detail of the agreements signed between Punjab and Kharasan. He said Iran and Pakistan could get benefits from each other’s experience through sharing technologies in different fields. The Chief Minister said Pakistan will never leave Iran alone in any difficult time. NNI
