Islamic systems are mainly about a welfare state and more than just focusing on punishments. Yet, we need to also know what Holy Qur’an says about certain punishments, since our media is a toy in the hands of secular forces. Whether, the Swat video was fake or real, we have to refer to Qur’anic laws that are for all times and that too for the benefit of the masses.
