Pakistani Youth has something special to say on Pakistan Day

Submitted by Rubab Saleem on March 22, 2009 – 8:42 pmNo Comment

The nation will celebrate Pakistan Day on Monday with great zeal and enthusiasm in remembrance of “The Pakistan Resolution” passed on March 23 in 1940. The day will dawn with special prayers for solidarity and integrity of Pakistan. Various programmes will be arranged to commemorate the most outstanding achievement of the Muslims of South Asia who passed the historic Pakistan Resolution at Lahore.

Rabia Abbas working for Pakistani Chapter of European NGO, 3Oth (Third World Talent Hunt) Gujranwala; having Master degree in Business Administration says:

Happy 23rd to all countrymen.. Celebrate 23rd of March with great zeal and enthusiasm, to commemorate the most outstanding achievement of the Muslims of South Asia who passed the historic Pakistan Resolution on this day at Lahore in 1940.

Vishal a businessman based in Karachi; says

My Message to the nation on this Pakistan Day is that remember 23rd March 1940, when a dream was given the road to reality. When scattered thoughts were shown their destiny by the Poet of East, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. His vision for Pakistan was not the one we have today, his vision was of a Pakistan where people were, tolerant, sincere, honest, resilient against the wrongs and were completely dedicated to their cause, a cause to get freedom from the British rule and from the Hindus, with whom their religious faiths weren’t safe. Today on 23rd March 2009, after 68 years of the day we stepped firstly for the freedom, My Question is do we enjoy the freedom we ever wanted?

May be we have, or may be we have over enjoyed the freedom we got. We separated ourselves for our integrity, our religious safety, our political, economical, social values that we were proud off, but are we proud of ourselves now? Are we satisfied with what we have done or achieved in these past 68 years after Dr.Allama Muhammad Iqbal showed us the way to make dreams come true !! We have over enjoyed and over celebrated our freedom. Our real leaders were martyred ever since we came up on the map of the world in 1947, and as a nation we never stood up. We were busy thinking for our ourselves. our own interests have always been far beyond the interests of we as a nation or Pakistan as our country.

Its time to wake up guys. The World has changed, and today if we don’t change ourselves, change will change us and believe me if i take the words out of the instant thoughts of free lance writers of the world, God forbid our sovereignty is in danger. Please wake up, this 23rd march lets just recollect all our energies and just start the way we did 68 years ago.
Pakistan Comes first and that really should be our motto, aim, destiny.
WE WANT PAKISTAN TO BE FOREVER.
PAKISTAN ZINDABAD

Usman Ali Software Engineer from Rawalpindi says:

Another 23rd march another year of hopes and expectations. Sometimes I really feel that’s those who conducted the memorable day of 23rd march have no idea what will be the situation of this country for which they were striving for. No doubt they were striving for an independent states, a country which will be a land of Muslims to practice their religion freely. But what happened they strive for the nation tha is as cold as dead and as cruel as Hitler for their own selves. We all are dead bodies living in a land gifted by our fore fathers.

We Really deserved the Presidents like Musharraf and Zardari because Dead Bodies only have Vultures in their destiny not Hawks! We are the people who have remarkable “HISTORY OF SILENCE”
>ARMY takeovers
>Missing persons
>Judicial crises
>U.S attacks inside our frontier
>Dr.Aafia’s abduction
>Lal Masjid
>Dr. Qadir’s arrest
>logistic support in killing Afghans
>Cartoons of Prophet (SAW)
We always Remain Silent!
As DEAD BODIES!
160 million Dead bodies!
So like every year 23rd March comes and just goes alike and nothing happens.

Saad Hamid is Administrator of SizloPedia based in Islamabad says:

“People need to rethink and re-evaluate their interests and priorities. Though the restoration of Chief Justice gives us a hope of justice, it still doesn’t ensure that no injustice will be done in future. Our focus should now be beyond political conflicts and our goal should be to help in ourselves and develop the country. The day we learn to focus on ourselves and devote our time on self-growth, that day will mark a new beginning and rise of Pakistan’

Kamran Hashmi is Design Engineer based in Islamabad says

Long live Pakistan; May Allah protect Pakistan from the evils of the world and guide us, the people of Pakistan, to think strong and identify the rights and wrongs and make us able to make right decisions………..
Happy Pakistan Day
