Prime Minister through executive order reinstates Chief Justice
About 2.30 am Monday Prime Minister Sayed Yousaf Raza Gilani through an executive order reinstated Chief Justice Iftkhar Muhammad Chaudhry. First indication came from Leader of the Opposition Chaudhry Nisar of Pakistan Muslim League (N).

Earlier Punjab government under Governor Salman had announced that if needed the civil government will ask Pakistan Army to help it for the maintenance of law and order.
