18 drowned children bodies recovered

MIANWALI: The rescue teams recovered the eighteen bodies of school going children and driver who lost their lives in Saturday’s tragic accident. An ill-fated wagon slipped into a canal near Mianwali. Police sources told Pakistan Times that rescue operation was completed on Sunday morning around 8:30 am after the continuous efforts of 24 hours. Of the 21 children traveling in the wagon,18 lost their lives.The van driver was also killed in the tragic incident.
