FOP has a plan to create thousands of jobs in Pakistan
The Friends of Pakistan Stockton chapter organized a spectacular and successful Pakistan Independence Day Mela at Stockton ballroom hall at city of Stockton CA, in which several hundred Pakistani Americans attended and pay tribute to Pakistan Independence.
Chairman and founder of the Friends of Pakistan Mr. Sarfaraz Khan was the chief guest of the evening and he addressed the occasion. He congratulate all expatriates for their motherland’s 61st Independence and said we must remember the sacrifices of millions of people who have died during the independence movement in 1947 and Quaid-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader and firm on his stance to have independent nation called Pakistan.
Sarfaraz Khan explained his FOP global movement and said I believe if expatriate get right of vote to elect their representatives in overseas countries then Inshallah they will play a vital role for their motherland and we have the plan to create thousands of new jobs in Pakistan. He said, FOP is the only organization who has initiated this campaign last year and now enjoying thousands of supporters all over the world. He also thanks Stockton people for their unconditional support for FOP.
Roger Khan, President of FOP Lodi chapter, was the emcee and he presented Allama Iqbal’s poetry and received round of applause from audience. Dr. Malik Awan, President FOP Stockton chapter thank the Stockton community members who attended this event.
A large number of Pakistani community members witnessed this impressive event. The attendance of youth and women were noticeable. County tax collectors Shabbir Khan, Commander Shahid Khan of Sheriff department and several other prominent community members were also attended this event. A renowned singer Zulfiqar Awan, Ponum Singh, Tina Mann, Jay Singh and Faizan Khan performed national and other songs and received round of applause from audience and especially Zulfiqar Awan’s performance was superb.
