ISLAMABAD: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) management has increased salaries upto 17 percent to all its employees by way of Dearness Allowances. According to a statement issued by the NBP here this decision was taken keeping in view of the rising cost of living in the country.
The decision of the Management was welcomed by all employees and their representatives and will further strengthen its continued industrial harmony. Apart from Employees, also Officers and Executives upto Senior Vice President (SVP) level were given increase of 15 percent on their basic pay.
The decision of the Management and particularly, of the President of the Bank Syed Ali Raza was over whelming hailed on the 61st Independence Day of Pakistan. All employees of the Bank have greatly appreciated the good-will gesture of the Management and expressed their full satisfaction.-SANA
