ISLAMABAD: “After every murder the investigators look at those who get the benefit, In this Murder who is the beneficiary? President Musharraf had made these observations on December 29, 2007 while addressing foreign media. He also observed ,’troops never liked Benazir Bhutto”. Making the observations an argument Federal Minister from PML (N) told a Press Conference a short while ago saying ,”his role in Benazir Bhutto’s murder remained questionable.”

Has said that Supreme Court cannot intervene in the impeachment of the President Musharraf since it is the privilege and internal matter of the Parliament. Ahsan said that so far more than 325 parliamentarians have confirmed their support for impeachment motion. He added that the Parliament would react strongly if the Supreme Court intervened in the impeaching process.

PML-N leader said the judges’ restoration is also commitment of the ruling coalition and that it would be done. To a question, Ahsan Iqbal said that it is not possible for the President to exercise article 58(2) b under the current circumstances. He also said that President Musharraf’s role was questionable in the assassination of former premier Benazir Bhutto after the tape of Musharraf-Benazir surfaced.

It appears coalition partners are including this issue when the finalize their proper charge-sheet against Musharraf before presenting an impeachment motion.
