
ISLAMABAD: US Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher met with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani at Prime Minister House here on Monday. Both the leaders discussed Pak-US relationship, anti- terror war, regional situation, Pak-Afghan relations and operation underway in the tribal areas.
Prime Minster said that talks will be held only those elements who are ready to lay their arms and not with the terrorists.. Gilani said a multi-dimensional policy is being adopted to cope up with terrorism and extremism. War against terror is in the interest of Pakistan and no one would be allowed to use Pakistani territory for terror acts. “Pakistan wants a peaceful and stable Afghanistan, which is in the interest of entire region”, Gilani added. Prime minister also asked US to give more opportunities to Pakistani products to reach their markets.
