ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is to pay four day visit to India today on the invitation of Indian External Affairs Minister. The Foreign Minister will hold talks with his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee on issues of mutual interest and explore the possibility of furthering bilateral cooperation for the common benefit and prosperity of the two countries.
Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi will call on the Indian Prime Minister and meet the political leadership of that country. He will also meet a delegation of the Kashmiri leaders. The Foreign Minister will deliver a key note address at the Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development, Chandigarh. The visit will help carry forward the peace process and address the outstanding issues between the two countries.
