THE HAGUE: The prosecution service of The Netherlands said that Dutch police on Friday arrested a 26-year-old Pakistani man sought in Spain on terrorism charges. Aqueel Ur Rehman Abbasi “was arrested in his prison cell in Vught where he was being held by the immigration and naturalization services at the request of the Spanish authorities,” Amsterdam prosecution spokesman Frank Wattimena told a foreign news agency. “The Spanish authorities have issued a European arrest warrant for him, and accused him of being a member of a terrorist organization and of taking part in the planning of terrorist attacks,” he added.
