LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party meeting of the central and provincial parliamentary boards was called here on Friday to discuss constitutional package given by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Current political situation, nominations of party candidates for the by-elections, issue of reinstatement of deposed judges and party future working strategies would be the main agenda of the meeting.

PML-N Secretary General for International Affairs Sheikh Kaiser Mehmood earlier said that the constitutional package would only be accepted if it is in accordance with the spirit of the Murree Declaration. All senior party leaders will attend the meeting.

People of Pakistan are admiring the policy of PML-N as it is first time in the history of Pakistan when any political Party has taken stand for the principals. In this regards it is interesting to note that five more contestants leave ground open for Shahbaz Sharif, central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. Shahbaz Sharif is contesting by-elections from PP-10 where five of the contestants applied Friday for withdrawal of their nomination papers. Those who applied for the withdrawal of their papers include, Azaz Asif Malik, Sardar Naseer Ahmed, Chaudhry Shabaan, Chaudhry Jameel and Mohammad Akram.
