BAHAWALPUR: WAPDA has completed two thousand eight hundred schemes of village electrification at a cost of over two point two billion rupees in thirteen districts of Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur regions. A WAPDA spokesman told an official channel that these schemes have been completed under Khushal Pakistan Programme. To a question he said WAPDA is signing agreements with the private power producers and improving its supply system to reduce the load shedding for the industrial, tube well and domestic consumers.-SANA
