Sudanese president makes stop over at Lahore

LAHORE: The President of Sudan, Omar Hassan Ahmed El-Bashir made a brief stop over at Lahore Airport early this morning. He was received by the Punjab Governor Salman Taseer and Sudanese Ambassador in Pakistan, Dassa Alla Elhaj Ali. Sudanese President Omar Hassan al Bashir accompanied by his eight members of his cabinet on way to South Korea visit stopped here for a while at the airport, where Punjab Governor greeting him exchanged views on matters of mutual interests. Sudanese President on completion of his South Korea visit would go to Japan, where he would be attending Tokyo World Conference on African development.-SANA
