Eight die in Swat rain

ISLAMABAD: Eight persons perished and five others injured in two different rain related incidents in Swat valley. According to a private news channel, six people of a family died and three others were injured when the roof of a house collapsed due to land sliding triggered by heavy rains in Madyan area of Swat. Meanwhile in another rain related incident, two people were killed and two received injuries due to the lightening on a tree under which they were sitting in Tehsil Matta area of Swat early Sunday.-SANA
