Zardari for immediate pay five-month salary to deposed judges

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has asked the government to immediately pay five months’ salary arrears to all deposed judges. Asif Ali Zardari asked the government after watching Geo News program “Capital Talk”. Talking program, Senior Supreme Court lawyer Athar Minullah Advocate said that most of the deposed judges were facing financial problems and they did not get any pay for the last five months. Asif Ali Zardari took strict notice of the matter and directed Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek to pay salary arrears to all the deposed judges of the Supreme and High Courts immediately.-SANA
