ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has banned sale of SIMs on footpaths and at other unauthorized locations. PTA in its press advertisement issued ban on any such sale that would punishable under PTA law. PTA took this step to avoid any unauthorized use by miscreants in the wake of increasing terror activities.
