Fazal asks media to listen to underling, avoid riding the bandwagon
ISLAMABAD: Leader of Jamiat-Ulema-e- Islam-F Maulana Fazalur Rehman lashed the media here on Sunday asking them to listen to the voice of the sons of the lesser god and avoid riding the bandwagon. He was addressing media here regarding partiality shown by the later in giving undue coverage and backing to the overtures of the Pakistan Muslim League-N leadership over the last six months.
Referring to Mian Nawaz’s changing stances, Fazalur Rehman lamented the non-serious approach of the leadership on major political and constitutional matters. He asked that why there was a need to retain the 17th amendment that was blasted when supported by them in the previous regime. He asked the media to remain neutral in dealing with matters of national importance.-SANA
