NEW DELHI: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ms Sherry Rehman has said that
Pakistan is committed to continue dialogue process with India as it is in the interest of the people of two countries. Talking to reporters after attending in the last rituals of prominent peace campaigner Nirmala Deshpande in New Delhi on Friday, she said that durable peace in the region is vital for the development and prosperity of the people of South Asia.
Ms Sherry Rehman paid rich tribute to Nirmala Deshpande for promoting love and affection between various cultures, faiths and bringing people across the border closer to each other. The Minister arrived in Indian capital New Delhi along with Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas Qamar Zaman Kaira and the PPP leader Manzoor Ahmad to condole the death of Deshpande on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan. The Information Minister met Secretary General of Congress Party Rahul Gandhi and conveyed condolence on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan.-SANA
