ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Thursday said that the new democratic set up believes in the freedom of media and every possible effort would be made to ensure free flow of information to the masses through print and electronic media.
Talking to Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman, who called on the Prime Minister here, Yousaf Raza Gilani said that the government will work for the welfare of the journalists’ community. The Prime Minister discussed the matters related to the media and the wage board award with the Minister. The matters pertaining to establishing journalist victim fund also came under discussion.-SANA
