RAWALPINDI: General Headquarters Special investiture ceremony held Tuesday here at the Army Auditorium to confer awards of “Tamgha-i-Jurrat” and Tamgha-i-Basalat to the officers and Next of Kin of Shaheed Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and Jawans. The Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani conferred the awards.
A total of 63 awards, including one Tamgha-i-Jurrat and 62 Tamgha-i-Basalat were conferred during the ceremony. A large number of senior military officials and relatives of awardees attended the ceremony.-SANA
