Radio Tehran confirmed Gen Fahim Qasim’s death

ISLAMABAD: RadioTehran conformed death of former Defence Minister of Afghanistan General Fahim Qasim a short while ago. Reports reaching here and Quetta Sunday confirmed death of former Defence of Afghanistan General Fahim Qasim. He was from Northern Alliance.

Reports said President Hamid Karzai who was the target of Taleban attackers is reportedly injured. An important warlord of Afghanistan told Arab News from Kandhar, “attack was plot and executed by Tlenbans but in counter firing byISAF forces caused more casualties.
