PESHAWAR: NWFP Cabinet has formed jirga comprising Senior Minister to hold talks with the parties on both sides, here Tuesday. The maiden cabinet meeting was presided over by the NWFP Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti that took stock of the worst law and order situation in Swat.
The Chief Minister formed a peace jirga headed by Senior Minister Bashir Bilour to negotiate peace between both sides. The jirga is comprised of Ministers from Malakand. The meeting also discussed the visit of Prime Minister to NWFP on Wednesday. It was decided that Prime Minister would be informed of the issues facing the province.-SANA
