HEC orders inquiry in Rangers’ smashing of KU Professor

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Higher Education Commission Dr. Attaur Rehman took serious note of manhandling of Professor Riaz Ahmed at the hand of Rangers and ordered an impartial inquiry by the Vice Chancellor Karachi University here Monday.

Dr. Atta said that teachers belong to a respectable profession and should be accorded due regard. Two versions of the news appeared in the papers claiming manhandling of Professor Riaz.-SANA
